The one exception: conversations with a page's AI assistant are written down for the page owner — callers see that notice before they start (how we handle data)

Calls start with audio · after a minute or two a Video button appears, and video is only added when both participants want it — no unpleasant surprises · a call between two people runs encrypted directly between your browsers — we cannot listen in and we store nothing of it. On some corporate networks a direct connection is impossible and the encrypted audio passes through our relay server; even then we cannot get at it. Conversations with a page's AI assistant are the exception: those are written down for the page owner, and our copy is deleted after 30 days (privacy).
